I was born, raised and worked London as a projects professional before moving to the Norfolk countryside for the best part of 25 years. Whilst there, my late husband and I renovated a dilapidated 17th century farmhouse. It was during this renovation journey where I fell deeply in love with fabrics, as I handmade all our soft furnishings to save money.
Now I am the passionate founder of my own small artisan soft furnishings brand, The Cushion Maven. I make in small batches for customers with a taste for beautiful handmade cushions at mid to aspirational prices, staying true to the ethos of never mass producing. The goal is to run The Cushion Maven full-time, being open to quality collaborations with other creatives and artisans where we can add mutual beauty and value to each other’s interior design endeavours.
