Hazel Gardiner
Hazel is a passionate floral artist and designer with a varied and rich background in the creative arts. Her style is free with an enriching take on colour, form and texture. She previously worked in television production, traveling worldwide with international recording artists. Wanting to get back to her sartorial roots she then founded a women’s clothing brand producing immersive retail events. This talent for creating unique visual experiences led to collaborations with many including the V&A, Tate and Selfridges. Hazel quickly gained a reputation for innovation and excellence but wanted to work with a different medium which she always admired, flowers. After a childhood surrounded by nature in south-east England, Hazel had a lifelong preoccupation and awe for the natural world. Encouraged by her gardener mother to always look closely at nature it has been an inherent inspiration in her past and present work. Training at world-class florist McQueens, combined with her previous experience allows her to provide multiple services. Hazel continually translates the world, taking inspiration from art, fashion and architecture, everything feeds her unlimited imitation. Her work is a love letter to nature with unexpected choices and combinations creating her fresh and provocative designs.
