Cassandra King
Cassandra is a stylist and floral artist and Founder of Immortal Botanica.
She has been obsessively researching the world of artificial and dried flowers and designing professionally with longer lasting botanics for nearly 5 years - with a long list of satisfied clients.
Cassandra has used her experience from her previous successful career in photography, film and television ( working in Hollywood with David Lynch and later as a Casting Director most notably casting multi Bafta award winning Horrible Histories) to inspire her vision of the unique floral displays she creates.
“ I realised working on sets that hot lights and fresh florals are not a great combo…I love what faux florals can do…stuff them in bags, bend them this way and that….and of course they last forever. I became really frustrated they were synonymous with bad taste and yucky decor - when they didn’t need to be and I really wanted to change that! Faux florals are finally now becoming big news In interiors and clients are embracing the way florals can change a space in a big way. It’s also important now to educate people on using faux flowers in as sustainable way as possible.. "
She has styled editorial shoots, filmed with lifestyle television presenter Amanda Lamb and styled residential and business spaces incorporating her love of florals.
She also co-owns a concept home and interiors retail store in West London supporting local female design talent and selling her own brand Immortal Botanica.
Cassandra’s mission is to share her knowledge and the beauty of the world of the artifice through her passion for remarkable design.
